Edward Nichols | Resumé


Edward E. Nichols received his BFA and MFA in Drawing and Painting from The University of Kansas during the 50’s.

Nichols has exhibited his work in numerous important exhibitions, including those sponsored by the Butler Institute of American Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC. He has work in 65 public and private collections. He has participated in 13 museum exhibits, plus 19 one-man shows, and his work has received 22 awards.

Professor Emeritus, Nichols retired from teaching painting and drawing at The University of Texas-Pan American in 1999 and is having a splendid time painting in his studio everyday.
